The 250 ml bottle of Oilala olive oil is imported directly from Italy. This monocultivar Roggianella extra virgin olive oil, made from the olive of the same name from Calabria, reveals a harmony between bitterness and spiciness, both present in medium measure and well balanced. This balance gives the oil a complex yet easily appreciable taste structure, making it versatile and suitable for various culinary uses.

The kit also comes with an 8oz pack of grated Parmigiano Reggiano, imported from the exclusive mountain dairies of Reggio Emilia. Parmigiano Reggiano is naturally lactose free and must not contain additives or artificial ingredients of any kind. It is an amazing source of protein made in Italy for over 1,000 years!

Last but not least, a bag of linguine pasta is included, containing one pound of pasta from the Gragnano region of Italy- famous for maintaining its ancient traditions in pasta making. This pasta, made with durum wheat, can be used in a variety of recipes that are healthy and easy to make. 

Due to the hint of tomato within the Roggianella olive oil itself, this pasta meal kit is perfect for making a classic Italian tomato sauce. Or, pair the pasta with a ragu Bolognese meat sauce and use the olive oil and imported parmesan cheese in a salad to start.
